Training and Development
This sub group is responsible for the strategy development, promotion and provision of interagency training to safeguard children. it will ensure that training is effective and complies with best practice and Working Together 2010 guidance.
The Group will develop E-learning tools whilst also delivering face to face training. The sub group are also responsible for developing a WSCB Web site, creating appropriate support for promoting safeguarding in the community and producing appropriate leaflets.
The group will be responsible for the development of a marketing strategy for the Board. the group will assist the development of training for leads in agencies to ensure safeguarding is embedded in schools and agencies across the city.
