Missing and Compromised Children
This subgroup l particularly focuses on the needs of children missing whether from care, education and home, Children trafficked, asylum seeking children and those children who may be vulnerable to sexual harm.
Consideration will also be given to children with complex needs. Work has already been completed to evaluate the numbers of children who are vulnerable and to look at the connections between those who are subject to drug and alcohol misuse and sexual exploitation.
This group also feeds into the Prostitution Task Group in the city. The group will also consider the needs of Looked After Children and those cared for away from home.
The group will develop protocols for work with this group of children and to look at the research to analyse the implications on local practice.
