Child Death
This is a group developed in response to the requirement on Local Safeguarding Children Boards in respect to all child deaths.
The group with Walsall SCB has implemented appropriate procedures, policy and protocols to ensure there is a coordinated response to any unexpected death of a child and a process for recording expected deaths.
It will also ensure that processes are put in place to collect and analyse information about each death with a view to identifying any matters of concern affecting the safety and welfare of children in the locality, identifying any general public health or safety concern.
