E-safety stands for 'electronic safety', it is not just about keeping safe on the internet but also using all electronic devices such as mobile phones and television in a safe way.
When you use Chat Rooms, Social Networking sites, like 'Facebook', on line games or your mobile, you should take precautions to keep yourself (and your relatives and friends) safe.

You should also beware of Cyber Bullying - and talk to someone if you feel uneasy or threatened.

There are lots of great websites out there, that will provide up to date information for you.
For example, try one of the sites listed below.

There's also a place, which anyone can use to report if they feel uncomfortable or worried about someone they are chatting to online. All the information here is brought to you by the team at the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre.
